Emhiser Research Incorporated, designs and manufacturers a complete line of airborne and ground-based telemetry equipment. Founded in 1978 in Ridgecrest, California by a group of telemetry engineers. The company's growth soon prompted a move to the Reno, Nevada area in 1981.

Emhiser Research, Inc. now has a research,development and production facility in the picturesque town of Verdi ( ten miles west of Reno). This facility is configured for total program management from the design and prototype stages thru full production.

All Emhiser products are designed for harsh military environments and many have been range qualified. Numerous patents have resulted from our imaginative designs.

A recently developed line of ultra-high efficiency transmitters consume less than one half the current of conventional designs. A 5 watt transmitter can be replaced by a 10 watt ultra-high efficiency transmitter doubling the power with less input current and considerably less dissapated power.

Emhiser telemetry equipment has been supplied to all military branches, Department of Defense contractors and various space agencies with mission critical products on both a prime and sub-prime basis.
